New Signer Logic for End of Employment Document

Objective:

Provide users with a clear and updated guide on the new signer assignment logic for End of Employment documentsEnd of Employmentin Buk. The goal is to eliminate the inconsistency that existed between the old and new signature models, ensuring a consistent and optimized experience when generating these documents.

Scope / Limitations:

This change applies to the creation ofEnd of Employmentfrom the Employee Profile,Bulk End of Employment Importerand theEnd of Employment API. Consider End of Employment or Finiquito for Chile, Liquidación for Peru.

What is the standardization of signers for end of employment documents?

Previously,End of Employmentdocuments used a different signature model than the rest of the documents, causing errors and friction in the user experience when editing or generating documents.

With the new standardization, End of Employment documents are now compatible with the new document signature model, allowing you to:

  • Assign signers flexibly and consistently (HR, supervisors, or others).
  • Integrate the configuration with the general setting"Allow any Legal Representative to sign", which enables or disables open signing.
  • Simplify the workflow for generating and signing End of Employment documents.

Platform Process:

  1. Creation of End of Employment:Available from:

    • Employee Profile.
    • Bulk ImporterEnd of EmploymentEmployee.
    • End of Employment API.

  2. Signer standardization:

    • When the general setting"Allow any Legal Representative to sign"isenabled:

    • Open signing is enabled for any Legal Representative with an active user.

    • The option to set a signing order in the End of Employment template is blocked.

    • A popover will appear indicating that the order option is not available in this case.

    • When the general setting isdisabled:

      • The default or secondary Legal Representative will automatically be assigned as signer as appropriate.

      • An alert will inform the user that the assigned Legal Representative will be the default one.
